The Gruppo Sella is a distinctive mountain plateau in the Dolomites, which is situated in the east of the Sassolungo and in the north of the highest summit of the Dolomites, which is the Marmolada. The Gruppo Sella is surrounded by the four Dolomite passes Passo Gardena, Passo Pordoi, Passo Sella and Passo Campolongo.

It is famous due to the Sellaronda, a popular route on skis which takes you round the mountain group. In summer, the circuit round the Sella mountain range is very popular with motor bikes and also mountain bikers.
